We’re often asked what alpacas are raised for. Well, here’s your answer! This is our Teaberry Alpaca harvest, and we’re very proud of it! Alpacas make wonderful yarn that’s soft, water-resistant, and hypoallergenic. If wool aggravates your skin, alpaca fiber can be a solid substitution. It’s every bit as warm as wool, if not warmer and soooo much softer, and every bit as sturdy. Alpaca yarn can be made into just about anything, from socks to hats to sweaters. All of our yarn is sheared directly from our alpacas—if you’ve ever visited us, you can take a part of your new friends with you!

Each skein is 200 yards. Some skeins are fingering and some are DK, please read the description very carefully.  Alpaca yarn is to be hand washed and laid flat to dry.

Colors currently available:

Dark Brown—Made from Daphne. The color is so rich and dreamy!  We had her fiber made into fingering with a little bit of Merino added in.  5/6 alpaca, 1/6 merino….100% beautiful!!!
